Kambaba Jasper is a special stone often referred to as the
„Stone of Peace and Tranquility.” It’s a rare variety of jasper found in
Madagascar and South Africa. Its distinctive green and black patterns are
highly characteristic, sometimes featuring circular „eye” or swirling designs,
which is why it is also known as Crocodile Jasper or Green Stromatolite Jasper.
Interestingly, despite its name, it is geologically a type of rhyolite that
contains ancient fossilized algae (stromatolites) over 3 billion years old,
making it one of the oldest stones on the planet.
